The framework for the training of current and future generations in cardiovascular disease prevention is crucial. More interest and dedicated training in cardiovascular disease prevention can certainly enable us to lead the path to discovery and one day eliminate ASCVD.
Below is a list of clinical (and/or clinical and research) focused prevention fellowships that has been compiled to serve as a dynamic and up to date centralized resources for cardiovascular disease prevention focused trainees for currently available fellowships in the field.

DO graduates must have taken and passed all three steps of COMLEX USA. • Must be eligible for licensure (Physician in Training or Full License) by the Texas Medical Board • Must be a Graduate of a U.S. or Canadian Medical School accredited by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME), or a medical school outside the United States and Canada with a current valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) • Be of good professional character with at least three letters of recommendation attesting to your academic and personal qualifications • Our program primarily sponsors J-1 visas. If you are a J1 visa holder, you must be eligible for one year of training at the beginning of the fellowship.
